Business Introduction

I.M. Display Business Div. is developing a functional film that has the function of improving energy efficiency, blocking harmful UV rays, heating and large area touch sensor using compound control technology such as natural lighting, lighting control, anti-fogging etc. for the glasses and windows of automotives and buildings, lighting of ships, refrigerators and wine-cellars and other TSP products available to display. Currently, I.M. is endeavoring to commercialize the flexible functional smart film with a UV blocking function.

The smart film can be manufactured by optimizing the multicomponent donor and thin film formation using an electromagnetism resonance plasma method that minimizes the charge kinetic energy (ECR plasma). The smart film has the advantages of uniformity and combination of thin film, excellent forming velocity of thin film, roll-to-roll mass production etc.
